LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB/WAVE) – A grieving father is keeping his son’s memory alive—and his case active—by carrying more than a thousand pieces of evidence right in his pocket.
Five years after Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Shirley was shot and killed while working security, his parents, Brian and Deborah, are still searching for his killer. To this day, Brandon’s father, Brian, is constantly reviewing the files himself, determined to find the missing puzzle piece.
