DEARBORN, Mich. – A new 4 p.m. curfew for minors is among several new safety measures in place for this year’s Dearborn Homecoming Festival, set to kick off Friday at Ford Field Park.
The 45th annual festival is expected to draw more than 100,000 people over the course of the weekend.
“We’re expecting large crowds. We’re expecting over 100,000 people throughout the weekend,” said Cpl. Dan Bartok, public information officer for the Dearborn Police Department.

Anyone 17 or under who wants to enter or remain at the festival after 4 p.m. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian…
