LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two men are dead following a crash on the I-65 southbound ramp onto I-264 East.
Louisville Police responded to the scene of the crash just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning. The initial investigation determined that the Fed-Ex semi was on the northbound exit ramp, missed the curve and went off the left shoulder into the southbound ramp and hit the rock wall head-on, killing both occupants inside.
LMPD’s traffic unit is investigating and the ramps in both directions and parts of I-65 in the area are expected to be shut down for two to three hours, LMPD said.
