(FOX40.COM) — A man who fled from California after an alleged double homicide at a local Elk Grove bar was extradited back from Texas on Tuesday.
The Elk Grove Police Department announced Wednesday that 43-year-old Roderick Randall had been successfully transported back to Sacramento and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
Randall is the suspect of the November 2025 shooting at Z Town Gastro Pub that caused the death of two people and the injury of multiple others. Officials say Randall was identified as the suspect after an investigation, and police obtained an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of homicide, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
In January 2026, Randall was taken into federal custody in Texas for allegedly providing false information to federal law enforcement officers.
