WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill (WTVO) — A Rockford man was arrested Wednesday after the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office said investigators received information that he was selling large amounts of methamphetamine in the Rockford area.
Investigators said 44-year-old Angel Rivera was arrested in the 3800 block of 11th Street. During the arrest, deputies located a loaded Ruger 57 handgun in Rivera’s waistband.
The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office authorized multiple charges against Rivera, including unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a repeat felony offender…
