YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A York County man was indicted on Wednesday on charges of wire fraud and unlawful monetary transactions, reportedly scamming an elderly woman out of more than $1 million in 2021.
The Department of Justice announced the indictment of William Brenner, 62, of Dover is accused of persuading a woman, who was born in 1936, that he could offer her and her daughter, who was acting as the woman’s power of attorney, that he could offer them a better investment opportunity.
