COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A Columbia nonprofit is asking for support after their office was left damaged by Thursday’s severe weather.
Literacy SC’s says its office on North Beltline Boulevard became flooded, saw discolored walls/ceilings and broken ceiling tiles. The nonprofit said in a post that while they are still assessing the damage, “extensive repairs and restoration will be needed.”
The nonprofit plans to continue its work helping South Carolinians with reading, writing and math in spite of losing their office space. The off-site programs will proceed as normal…
