TAYLOR – Mayor Tim Woolley said people on all-terrain vehicles are contaminating and damaging roadway materials that are being staged south of I-94 and east of Telegraph for the Restore 94 project.
Woolley, who spoke during the Aug. 5 city council meeting, said Ajax Paving and the Michigan Department of Transportation reached out to the city today with concerns.
“Apparently, we have individuals that are riding back on the location where they are doing the cement mixing right off of I-94,” he said. “We have individuals that are riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers back into that area, they are riding up and down the hills of gravel and sand and everything, and it contaminates that sand and stone.”…
