Berryhill’s baseball team had to wait overnight to play its second game at the American Legion Great Lakes Region tournament, but Post 165 made the most of the opportunity when it finally arrived.
In a game which was originally slated for Thursday at 5 p.m., later rescheduled for Thursday at 10 p.m., and eventually moved to Friday morning, Berryhill edged host Lexington, Ky., 2-1, in winners’ bracket action at the University of Kentucky’s field to advance to Friday evening’s winners’ bracket semifinal.
