A man from Rockford is in some very hot water and looking at felony charges after police say he used two gas stations he owns in Davenport to run a drug and prescription pipeline.

According to police, 38-year-old Ali A Thabet is accused of working with his employees at the two Breeze Market Shell stations he owns along Brady Street to sell marijuana, other THC products, and sex enhancement drugs that are not legal in the United States.

And no, we’re not talking about the rhino pills at the counter.

Police searched the Breeze Market Shell on Brady Street during an investigation into marijuana distribution back in April, and during the investigation, one of the employees sold an officer marijuana during a controlled purchase…
