The devastating emerald ash borer insect has made it to Colorado Springs.
According to an August 5 press release, the city has confirmed that the invasive species has been located within city limits, calling the discovery a “significant milestone.” The city has long been preparing for the bug’s presence and is starting to implement its Emerald Ash Borer Management and Response plan.
