MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An abused and abandoned dog wandering the streets of Memphis is safe thanks to many concerned animal lovers and a man who was able to trap the stray.
The Streetdog Foundation said it received a number of comments and tags on Facebook about an injured white dog on Knight Arnold Road, and after 48 hours of searching and trapping, they were able to get the sweet girl.
“She’s beat up…eye, skin, and tail issues, but her fight isn’t over,” said the Streetdog Foundation.
The stray dog rescue group said the pup has a lot of skin issues that appear to be mainly from dog bites and she’s missing her tail. They said right now she is getting medicated baths and decompressing at their vet’s office…
