PLYMOUTH MEETING — Norristown will not have a hand in zoning proceedings for a proposed data center development after Plymouth Township officials denied them party status.
Attorney Robert A. Saraceni Jr. advocated on behalf of the municipality one day after council members unanimously endorsed the idea of seeking party status related to proceedings involving the development of a nearly 2 million-square-foot data center on a parcel situated in the nearby township.
“We’re a uniquely adjacent municipality, and things like pollution and water do not respect [the] borders of townships. So the municipality is concerned about the impact it may have on its town and citizens,” Saraceni said…
