VAN ALSTYNE, Texas (KXII) – A Van Alstyne student who began playing guitar only a year and a half ago is set to perform Saturday as the pre-show act at the city’s Sounds of Summer series.
Jake Wofford, a singer-guitarist entering his junior year at Van Alstyne High School this fall, will open for the Bellamy Brothers at the Central Social District. The live performance is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
