2 adults, 4 children displaced after Chester house fire

Two adults and four children were displaced after a house fire Saturday morning in Chester, Pennsylvania, according to Fire Commissioner John-Paul Shirley.

Just before 11 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 1100 block of Terrill Street after receiving multiple reports of a residential fire.

Shirley said crews arrived at the scene within four minutes and began fire suppression and search operations. Due to the advanced fire conditions and high temperatures, a second alarm was struck, recalling off-duty personnel and bringing in fire departments from surrounding municipalities to help fight the blaze.
