URBANDALE, Iowa — A semi tipped over along Interstate 80 in Urbandale, causing delays for Saturday travelers.
Around 1 p.m. on Saturday, it was reported that a semi had tipped over in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near mile marker 128, between NW 100th Street and NW 86th Street in Urbandale.
The semi was tipped to its passenger side and covered three lanes of traffic, reportedly causing up to 30 minutes in delays for a period of time.
By 2:30 p.m., the semi was flipped upright again and blocked just two lanes of traffic. Traffic delays were roughly 12 minutes at this time, according to the Iowa DOT.
