Mark Burgdorf: Before Hendersonville sells the Bradford-Berry estate, we need to know what we are selling

There are decisions a city can reconsider. There are votes that can be reversed, ordinances that can be amended and plans that can be changed.

But once historic land is divided, rezoned and developed, what has been lost may never be recovered. That is why Hendersonville should pause the proposed disposition of the Bradford-Berry Estate.
