RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A back-to-school fair connected students and families with valuable resources ahead of the 2026-27 academic year on Sunday in Richmond’s Northside.
Trinity Baptist Church held a resource fair and book bag giveaway on Sunday, Aug. 9, to prepare families for the upcoming school year ahead of the first day of school.
Organizers provided free school supplies, mental health resources, nutrition and wellness information, tutoring and academic support, mentoring programs, community organizations and social services at Sunday’s event.
