A Shaler fire police officer died after suffering a medical emergency at a community car cruise Sunday evening, the Shaler Villa Volunteer Fire Company announced Monday.
George Mullins Jr., 66, of Shaler was stricken while working traffic control for the Shaler North Hills Library Car Cruise at Scott Primary School. It had been rescheduled from Aug. 2 because of rain.
