EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Doña Ana Community College (DACC) Dental Hygiene Professor Dr. Elmer González recently received an international award.
González was presented with the World Dental Hygienist Award from the Sunstar Foundation in Milan, Italy. González received the award during the International Symposium on Dental Hygiene last month.
The World Dental Hygiene Awards are presented to dental hygienists around the world who have made outstanding contributions to oral health, the college said.
