RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Monday was the first full day for Rutherford County Schools students, but not everybody made it to the classroom because the district is, once again, having transportation issues.
“It’s mass chaos, for sure,” RCS parent Shiloh Nunley stated.
Nunley said his child was rezoned farther away this year to Whitworth Buchanan Middle School, and after dealing with bus problems the first day, his student had to do virtual learning from home.

“If you can’t accommodate our children and the transportation and getting them to and from school in a timely manner, then you need to accommodate them by giving them zone waivers so that they can go to a school to be the best for them,” Nunley explained…
