CLEVELAND (WJW) – Legendary rock and pop singer Rod Stewart has canceled his performance at Rocket Arena in Cleveland on Tuesday.
According to Rocket Arena officials, doctors have advised the 81-year-old singer that he should rest for at least 48 hours, leading to the cancellation.

The announcement comes after Stewart postponed his performance at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati this past weekend, People reported, citing a “minor medical procedure.”
“Rod is disappointed to miss the show and appreciates everyone’s understanding,” officials said in a statement on Monday evening. “He looks forward to returning to the stage soon.”
