Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club’s annual comedy festival is this week, bringing comics, industry experts, and local communities together to celebrate the world of comedy.
The Super Funny Comedy Festival, which began Aug. 10 and ends Aug. 16, takes place at the club’s downtown Tacoma venue at 1530 Pacific Ave. The festival is open to those 21 and older and features career building workshops, masterclasses, networking events, and live performances by comedians such as Trenton Cotten, Frederick White, Rachel Afllje, and Nate Jackson himself.
Renowned comedian Tiffany Haddish will also perform two sold-out shows Friday and Saturday night to cap off the week of activities.
“The Super Funny Comedy Festival is about creating pathways — giving audiences unforgettable shows while giving comedians and creators meaningful access to education, industry relationships and opportunities to grow,” said Nate Jackson, founder of Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club, in a press release. “We are proud to bring that energy to downtown Tacoma and welcome people from across the region and beyond.”…
