Senior-living community Solstice at Point Defiance is commemorating its recent remodel with an event, the Summer Breeze Soirée, set for 3-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.
The gathering will give residents, families, and community members a chance to tour the updated space, which features new paint, lighting, furniture, revitalized common areas, and renovated cottages and apartment homes. A new Veterans Wall has also been added to honor service members.
Festivities will include live music from The Bale Jumpers, a 4 p.m. ribbon cutting with the local chamber of commerce, community tours, summer-inspired food and drinks, and a gift-basket raffle benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association…
