Managers of Faneuil Hall Marketplace have sued seven current or former tenants over more than $2 million in alleged unpaid rent and other fees, adding another challenge for the historic marketplace as it struggles to fill vacant storefronts.

The lawsuits were filed in Suffolk Superior Court between July 2024 and July 2026. Most of the businesses named in the cases have since left Faneuil Hall, leaving the marketplace with a growing number of empty spaces…
