New tropical disturbance to watch in the Atlantic

ORLANDO, Fla. – A new area of interest has been highlighted by the National Hurricane Center. A tropical wave that has emerged off of Africa is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development over the next several days.The NHC gives this disturbance a 20 percent chance for development over the next seven days as it moves west.

A disturbance in the North Atlantic, Invest 93 L, is getting better organized and a short-lived tropical depression or storm will be possible over the next day or so. After that the system will move over cooler waters ending it’s chance for development…
