A truckload of Pat’s Pastured farm goods and supplies packed for the Hope Street Farmers Market in Providence caught fire Saturday, Aug. 4, causing what owner Patrick McNiff estimated could be more than $100,000 in damage. The fire broke out shortly after 7 a.m. and remains under investigation.
The employee driving the truck noticed flames coming from the back while on Route 4, pulled over and got out, then called 911 and notified McNiff…
