MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. – A dog named Huckleberry has spent more than 400 days waiting for a home at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center despite being fun-loving and good with families.
Huckleberry is a 3-year-old pit bull terrier described as energetic and affectionate. Shelter staff says she does well with children and especially enjoys spending time with adults and older kids.
