A Ford pickup truck driver was recently cited after California Highway Patrol officers clocked the vehicle traveling 94 mph on State Route 154, nearly 40 mph over the posted speed limit.
The traffic stop occurred on Highway 154 near Stagecoach Road, where the speed limit is 55 mph. The driver was cited for violating California Vehicle Code 22349(b), which prohibits exceeding the 55 mph maximum speed on two-lane undivided highways.
