Water is at the center of Arizona’s future, and local and state leaders will gather in Tucson on August 28 to discuss how the state can protect and manage its most essential resource.
The Southern Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host the Arizona Water Summit: Securing Tomorrow’s Most Precious Resource at 10 a.m. Friday, August 28, at the Grand Challenges Research Building on the University of Arizona campus.
Rather than a traditional conference, the summit will feature a collaborative roundtable focused on the challenges and opportunities surrounding Arizona’s water supply. Topics will include the future of the Colorado River, water conservation, infrastructure, agriculture, housing, responsible land use and technological innovation.
