Oregon Ducks Trending for Two Recruits in the Class of 2028

The class of 2027 has gone well for the Oregon Ducks, which then turns the focus to how the class of 2028 will look. The Ducks have yet to land their first commit in the future class, but they continue to trend well for two of the players that they are targeting closely. Among all of their current targets, here are two standouts that the Ducks are trending in a positive way with.

Josiah Boyd – Quarterback

The first player to mention is arguably the best player that the Ducks have on their current quarterback board when it comes to the class of 2028. That quarterback is four-star quarterback recruit Josiah Boyd, who is from the state of California. The talented prospect measures in at 6-4 and 175 pounds, while also ranking as the No. 31 player in the nation, No. 3 player in California, and the No. 2 quarterback in the class, according to Rivals.

The Vista Del Lago Ravens High School quarterback is the best thing currently coming out of Moreno Valley when it comes to the class of 2028. He is a gunslinger with great size and a great arm, but his ability to be a leader is what stands out the most. He has taken control of what the offense is offering and has been able to help lead his team to the best scenarios and opportunities yet.

The Ducks have shown interest in Boyd and continue to hold hopes that he will commit to them when he makes his announcement. If things stay on the same path that they are on currently, the Ducks have a great shot to land his commitment when the time comes.

Trison Satele – Offensive Lineman

The second player from the class of 2028 to trend towards the Oregon Ducks is current four-star defensive lineman recruit Trison Satele. Satele is a great prospect who has a great frame to build upon, coming in at 6-1 and 260 pounds, according to Rivals. He is also a proven prospect, which is what has helped him earn his ranking of No. 173 in the class, No. 17 on the defensive line, and the No. 1 player when it comes to Hawaii, according to the Rivals Industry rankings.

Satele currently resides in the Mililani, Hawaii, area, while also playing for the Mililani Trojans at the high school level. When it comes to the class of 2028, the talented prospect has got the recruiting scene figured out, as he has already received offers from some premier programs, including the Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers…
