LOMBARD, Ill. (WGN) – Metra UPW inbound and outbound trains are halted near Lombard after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train.
Metra officials originally reported the trains were stopped due to a “police investigation” and later confirmed a pedestrian was struck by a train. Officials later confirmed the pedestrian that was hit by the train died from their injuries.
