TULSA, Okla. — Scammers are constantly looking for ways to use people’s personal information and FOX23 investigative reporter Janna Clark recently found herself dealing with what her former insurance company identified as a common health care scam.
Clark received a letter from Aetna, her previous health insurance provider, showing a medical charge of $21,501.06 from a company called New England Medical Supply Inc.
“I got this letter in the mail and when I opened it, I saw it had a $21,000 medical charge,” Clark explained. “I had no idea what this was and it was shocking.”…
