LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Several street construction projects across Lincoln could affect students’ daily commutes as the new school year gets underway.
Vine Street between 66th and 70th streets is completely closed for a street improvement project expected to run into late fall 2026. The closure could delay traffic in and around Meadow Lane Elementary.
Work directly next to Pyrtle Elementary is complete, but cleanup continues throughout the surrounding neighborhood and is expected to wrap up this fall…
