BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — School is back in full swing and Bradenton police say some drivers need a refresher on the rules.
“Every year, we hope that we’re going to have zero violations, but that never happens,” said Bradenton Police Chief Josh Cramer. “Last year, on the first day of school, we had 50. This year, we had over 65.”

There were 68 drivers who were caught Monday going more than 10 mph over the posted speed limit. That comes with a $100 violation.
“Everywhere in the world there are speed limits,” Cramer said. “It’s to keep people safe. That’s the whole idea.”…
