Visitors can now cuddle and brush baby calves at Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana State Fair visitors can slow down and snuggle up at Calf Cuddles, a new hands-on experience giving guests the chance to brush and cuddle baby calves.

For $10 per person, anyone older than 1 year can step inside the pen, grab a brush and spend time with calves like Petals, Pearl and Poppy. Staff said the animals soak up the attention and quickly warm up to all the extra love.

“It’s so enjoyable. We love it,” said Michelle, who helps care for the animals year-round. “It is a full-time job, seven days a week, every day of the year, but being able to bring them out to have other people visit them gives us a really good excuse to be able to own them.”…
