Raphaela Platow, the former longtime director of Cincinnati’s Contemporary Arts Center, has been appointed interim executive director of Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum.
Platow officially joins the Butler County sculpture park Aug. 20. She succeeds Sarah Templeton Wilson, who is stepping down as executive director to pursue external opportunities, according to a release from Pyramid Hill. Wilson joined Pyramid Hill as its first development director in 2022 and had served as executive director since January 2024.
Platow will provide leadership during a transition as the board prepares to conduct a nationwide search for a permanent executive director. The release did not provide a timetable for the search and said Platow’s appointment is an interim role. It does not say whether she will be considered for the permanent position.
