Flooding, power outages reported after tornado warnings expire in Iowa

A pair of tornado warnings for the Des Moines metro area have been allowed to expire or were canceled.

The warnings included parts of Polk, Story and Marshall counties as strong thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes passed through.

A severe thunderstorm warning continues for counties immediately east of Des Moines.
