Colorado man convicted of four homicides gets 30 years in Englewood murder

A Colorado man convicted of several homicides has been sentenced to 30 years in the 2022 death of a woman in Englewood.

Ricky Lee Roybal-Smith, 39, previously pleaded guilty to the murder of Margaret Eberhart. She died on June 24, 2022, after she was assaulted just after 3 a.m. on June 22, 2022, according to a news release from the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. He was sentenced this week to 30 years followed by five years of parole.
