A town discovered that a Flock camera was installed on city property without authorization and still has no idea who put the illegal camera up in the first place. Officials in Millcreek, Utah, were alerted to a mysterious Flock automated license plate reader that was placed in a parking lot near its town plaza. But they have not yet figured out where the camera came from, especially since the city nor police in the area have a contract with Flock.

Questions continue to mount in Millcreek after a controversial Flock camera was found illegally placed on city property near Millcreek Common, a town square and public plaza, according to 2News KUTV.
City leaders did not give their approval over its installation, and officials say that Millcreek and the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake do not have a contract with Flock.
