KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A child won’t be going bike-less this summer, thanks to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office and Cedar Springs Meijer.
After the boy’s recently purchased bike was stolen, his family reported the theft to the sheriff’s office.

With few leads, deputies assigned to Kent County’s north precinct teamed up with Meijer to “turn a bad day into a great one.”
According to the sheriff’s office on Facebook, Meijer had the exact same bike in stock. A deputy and Meijer staff then teamed up to surprise the child with it.
