Former Phillis Wheatley High School teacher Traci Wade-Tousant is pushing back after social media personality Darius Cooks posted a tearful video criticizing the reading and writing abilities of students at Houston’s Wheatley High School.
She says the comments unfairly painted a group of older students she previously taught. Wade-Tousant accuses Cook of trying to use her students to “gain followers.”
