This is a Labrador Retriever/Mix named Alex. He is only two-years-old and has been at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. After 147 days at the shelter, he found a family who finally saw his true. loveable colors.

Alex did not have the easiest experience being at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. He was stressed and watching people pass him by just broke his heart. But the bets friend he knew he could be was energetic, goofy, playful, and full of life.
Thankfully, Alex no longer has to spend another day at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. He got adopted and staff could not be happier for one of their longest residents!
The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society staff fell in love with Alex and they knew a family would see that spark in him too.
He had a way of making everyone who met him fall in love. Watching him wait was never easy because we all knew what an incredible dog he was. He just needed the right person to see what we saw. Well… they finally did.
Alex held on for the right family in the Sioux Empire. His infectious personality got everyone hooked! Now he’s going to live his best life at long last…
