Two men accused of running a monthslong burglary spree through Henderson neighborhoods, including the gated Seven Hills community, are now facing more than a dozen felony charges after detectives tied them to at least seven break-ins between January and March 2026. Yusuf Tahir Scott, 32, and Leonte McClay, 26, were identified as suspects by the Henderson Police Department and are being held at the Clark County Detention Center as they await a preliminary hearing.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Scott and McClay are accused of targeting Henderson homes in a series of sophisticated burglaries that involved cutting power at several targeted properties and breaking in through sliding glass doors. The pair now face charges including burglary, home invasion, grand larceny, and theft exceeding $100,000, along with more than a dozen felony counts overall. Some of the burglaries occurred in the Seven Hills community, per the arrest report cited by the newspaper.
Court records reviewed by the outlet describe the scale of what homeowners lost. One Henderson resident reported approximately $71,000 in jewelry and $10,000 in cash stolen, while another reported roughly $41,000 in jewelry, watches, and handbags taken. At one home, a homeowner told investigators that a floor-bolted safe had been physically removed, leaving nothing behind but the bolts still anchored to the floor.
Surveillance Cameras and Phone Records Cracked the Case
Investigators say the break came through a combination of old-fashioned legwork and newer technology.
