MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — PennDOT announced Tuesday that repair work on a culvert on the northbound side of Route 11 in Cumberland County will result in closures this weekend.
Crews will be replacing a concrete slab on a culvert at the northbound Route 11 to southbound I-81 in Middlesex Township near Carlisle, beginning 9 p.m. Friday and ending 5 a.m. Monday. As such, the northbound side of Route 11 will be closed at the interchange.

A detour will be in place for motorists, taking them onto southbound I-81, then to Exit 49 briefly onto Route 641/High Street. The detour will immediately enter northbound I-81 before returning onto northbound Route 11 past the work zone. A map displaying the detour can be viewed below.
