Woman faces capital murder charge after pregnant woman shot and killed

MOBILE, Ala.  (WKRG) — A 29-year-old woman is facing a capital murder charge after prosecutors say a confrontation over a $15 lash appointment deposit ended with a pregnant woman being shot and killed outside her home.

Kanedrea Davis appeared in court Thursday in connection with the July 10th shooting death of pregnant 23-year-old Chyna Hickman.

Hickman’s family filled the courtroom as the lead detective testified about what happened before the shooting.
