COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on the city’s east side early Saturday.
Police said a white Honda CR-V was entering the Interstate 270 northbound ramp from East Main Street around 3:03 a.m. when it left the roadway and struck a light pole. Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The driver and sole occupant, identified as Maxine Ohakim, 36, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died.
