ASHLAND, Ohio (WCMH) — Two Columbus men who led law enforcement on a four-county pursuit while driving a stolen vehicle are facing at least 30 felony charges.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers from multiple posts engaged in an overnight chase across four counties, beginning in the Ashland area on Aug. 3. About 1:40 a.m., troopers activated their overhead lights after locating a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, which had been identified as stolen.
The Hyundai had been flagged for distracted driving and speed violations while traveling south on Interstate 71. The driver failed to stop, and a police chase ensued through Ashland, Richland, Morrow and Delaware counties. See the latest headlines from NBC4 in the video player above.
