South Bay man with suspended license accused of driving 100 mph with elderly passenger

SOUTH BAY, Fla. (CBS12) — A South Bay man was arrested after a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy said he drove a pickup truck at speeds reaching 100 mph before slowing to 92 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Alexis Juvenal Perez was arrested Aug. 12 on charges of operating a vehicle at 100 mph or more while threatening the person or property of another and driving while his license was suspended or revoked, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrest report. Bond was set at $250 on each charge, for a total of $500.

Perez was released from jail on the $500 bond…
