Damage from Tuesday’s storm has caused visitor center, preserve, and trail closures throughout the Forest Preserve District of Will County.
Storm-related issues are being posted on the Forest Preserve’s Closures and Alerts webpage at ReconnectWithNature.org.
Currently, Plum Creek Nature Center is closed because it doesn’t have power, Lockport Prairie Nature Center is closed because of a downed power line, and downed trees have closed portions of the Old Plank Road Trial and Plum Creek Greenway Trail. Raccoon Grove Nature Preserve trail also is closed…
